The Wild Coast
April 2016
The Wild Coast, the home of Nelson Mandela and once known as the Kingdom of Transkei, is a vast stretch of rolling green hills dotted with colourful rondavels and farming communities that drop steeply into the Indian Ocean. During our journey from Durban to Cape Town we spent a week riding through this stunning part of South Africa.

Children of the village didn't pass up the opportunity of a quick ride back to their house.

On the first day one of the canvas panniers slipped over the back of the exhaust, only to blow a great hole through it that melted everything that could possibly melt. A quick welding job later, we had guards built onto the rack to make sure it didn't happen again!
